Yoga Nidra Mini-Series (Embrace Your Now)
January 9, 2025 @ 8:00 PM - 8:30 PM
While generally thought of as a form of relaxation, Yoga nidra is technically a meditation technique. During the practice, one appears to be asleep, but the consciousness is functioning on a deeper level of awareness. Unlike traditional meditation, Yoga nidra doesn’t require you to sit tall or to concentrate and still your mind. In yoga nidra, the state of relaxation is reached by systematically turning inwards and away from outer experiences, providing the practitioner with deep relaxation.
It has been said that one hour of yoga nidra is equivalent to four hours of sleep. During the darker months when many animals hibernate, us humans tend to pack in more doing, more buying, more visiting and more expectations. Give yourself the gift of rest with this mini-series.
This series takes place via zoom, in the comfort of your own home. Your registration will come with recordings so you can revisit these nidras.
