Intro to Arm Balances and Inversions

Arm balances can be exhilarating or intimidating depending on your level of comfort. While some strength is necessary, the key to finding flight is in the ability to engage certain muscle groups, shift your center of gravity, be more comfortable on your hands and lift up away from fear.
In this fun workshop we will break down arm balances into their basic elements, practice prep postures to help strengthen the core, learn how to leverage the lower body and use props to explore crow, side crow, flying crow, flying pigeon, 8-angle pose and headstand.
Leave your fear at the door and journey out of your comfort zone as you learn to be light in flight.
