SUMMARY:FUNctional Fitness for Tween/Teen Girls: Session 2
DESCRIPTION:Overview:\nFUNctional Fitness is a dynamic and empowering strength training class designed specifically for middle school girls. This class focuses on building physical strength\, confidence\, and a positive body image in a supportive and fun environment. Whether you’re new to fitness or looking to enhance your skills\, this class will help you grow stronger\, both physically and mentally. \nWhat to Expect: \n\n\nStrength Training Basics: Learn the fundamentals of strength training\, including proper form\, technique\, and safety. Exercises will include bodyweight movements\, resistance bands\, and light weights\, all tailored to a beginner level. \n\n\nEmpowerment through Exercise: We will emphasize the importance of finding a variety of movements that we enjoy. As well as work to set and achieve personal fitness goals\, while fostering a sense of accomplishment with each session. \n\n\nFun and Friendly Atmosphere: Work out with your peers in a fun\, supportive environment. The class is designed to be interactive and engaging\, with activities that make strength training enjoyable and accessible. Alongside physical training\, we’ll incorporate discussions on healthy habits\, positive body image\, and the importance of mental well-being. \n\n\n\nTween/Teen Girls\, ages 11-14 \nSession 2: 2/13 – 3/27 no class 3/13 (spring break)  \n$75 per 6 week session.
