DESCRIPTION:Get into the groove in this 90-minute retro aerobic dance class set to the iconic feel-good tunes of the 80s. The class format will offer repeatable choreography blocks with high- and low -impact options for steady cardio followed by a cool-down and stretch in a warm\, community-centered atmosphere.\n\n\nTaught by Carie Fuller\, a lifelong lover of dance\, music\, and movement. She began dancing\, choreographing\, and teaching at a young age\, then leading aerobics classes for nearly two decades. Her experience also includes writing a book and founding a whole-person wellness organization focused on group exercise and lifestyle training. She is now back in the studio teaching adult jazz at the Dance Academy of State College\, bringing energy\, experience\, and her passion for movement to every class.\n\n\n**80s attire strongly encouraged\, but not required**\n\n\nCost: $25 Register here. \n\nALL Proceeds of this class will benefit our Om-azing Scholarship\, which will support movement opportunities for those in need.

This class focuses on building physical strength\, confidence\, and a positive body image in a supportive and fun environment. Whether you’re new to fitness or looking to enhance your skills\, this class will help you grow stronger\, both physically and mentally. \nWhat to Expect: \n\n\nStrength Training Basics: Learn the fundamentals of strength training\, including proper form\, technique\, and safety. Exercises will include bodyweight movements\, resistance bands\, and light weights\, all tailored to a beginner level. \n\n\nEmpowerment through Exercise: We will emphasize the importance of finding a variety of movements that we enjoy. As well as work to set and achieve personal fitness goals\, while fostering a sense of accomplishment with each session. \n\n\nFun and Friendly Atmosphere: Work out with your peers in a fun\, supportive environment. The class is designed to be interactive and engaging\, with activities that make strength training enjoyable and accessible.
